The reason why the customer finally chose the tubular chain conveyor, just because it was pointed out in the evaluation analysis report to the customer :
Compare the 6 ”pneumatic conveyor with the tubular chain conveyor, with the same total capacity of 30 T, the total power consumption of using the pneumatic conveyors is114KW.
Then with the industrial power (average price) announced by Taipower last year was 2.49 NT dollar per kWh.
So the electricity cost required is 114KW * 2.49 NT dollar * 24 hours * 365 days = 2,486,613 NT dollar / year
And the tubular chain conveyor at the same capacity of 30 T, the required energy consumption is only 18.5KW. (no air consumption required)
So the number on the electricity bill is 403,529 in NT dollar / year (18.5 KW * 2.49 NT dollar * 24 hours, hours * 365 days)
